Wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald and the Cardinals will play on "Sunday Night Football" in Dallas during the preseason.
The Cardinals don't know yet if they will be on national television during the 2018 regular season, but they will be making an appearance on "Sunday Night Football" in the preseason.
The key third preseason game for Steve Wilks' team will be in Dallas Aug. 26, for a 5 p.m. kickoff against the Cowboys on NBC. The Cards also faced the Cowboys in a nationally televised preseason matchup last year in the Hall of Fame game.
First, though the Cardinals will open the preseason the weekend of Aug. 9-13 at University of Phoenix Stadium against
the Los Angeles Chargers. Then comes a trip to New Orleans the weekend of Aug. 16-20.
After the game in Dallas, the Cardinals will close out the preseason schedule at home against Denver either Aug. 30 or 31. The Cardinals will also face the Broncos and Chargers during the regular season.
The full training camp schedule is released sometime in mid-June.
The regular-season schedule is expected to be announced sometime before the draft April 26. The first Sunday of the regular season is Sept. 9.
The Cardinals' opponents for the 2018 regular season are already set. At home, they will play the Broncos, Oakland Raiders, Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, Washington Redskins and the NFC West trio of Seattle, San Francisco and the Los Angeles Rams.
The road opponents will be the three NFC West foes, Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, Atlanta Falcons, Chargers and Kansas City Chiefs.
