Among the undrafted rookies the Cardinals have signed was Wisconsin cornerback Sojourn Shelton (8).
After the draft, the Cardinals knew they hadn't taken a quarterback, and hadn't taken a natural cornerback.
That was part of the work the team did when collecting undrafted rookie free agents.
The team announced agreements with 17 undrafted rookies Tuesday, including a quarterback – Texas A&M's Trevor Knight– and Wisconsin cornerback Sojourn Shelton, who reportedly received among the highest signing bonuses in this year's UDFA class at $25,000.
The rookies, including the draft class, report May 11 and have their rookie minicamp that weekend.
