2012 Cheerleader Pro Bowl Diary - Part 6

Aloha cardinal fans!!

Wow this exciting week is just flying by! I am sad this is all coming to an end.

We started the day off at aloha stadium today an and spent most of the day there. It was Ohana Day and was open for the public to attend all the festivities. Ohana means family. It was similar to a practice game for us cheerleaders. We introduced ourselves and did lots of performing. There was an opportunity for people to get autographs and tickets for the Pro Bowl. After Ohana day, the girls had a little break and then we headed out for a few hours to practice our pregame routine with everyone that is involved. Fireworks and all! It was really awesome practicing with singer Hot Shell Rae!

We are all so tired, but just keep going because we are having the time of our lives. The girls had about an hour to grab a bite and freshen up for the block party. We all stayed in our NFC and AFC groups. There were 6 stages that we all rotated to, two DJ booths on each end, and over 70,000 fans were there. One of the booths had an auction for the special Olympics, and some of our girls sold their calendars for over 100 dollars! We performed four times and hit every routine. I love my NFC 1 group, we have really formed into a great line! There were so many people wanting things signed and taking so many pictures.

Today was one of my favorite days! I don't want this experience to end, but I know I am going away a better person with so many memories. All these girls are amazing people inside and out, and I am going to bring away something from each of them.

Well Sunday is game day and there will be so many emotions involved. I am so excited to look into the crowd and take in this whole experience! I feel so blessed and truly honored to be her.! I love my AZCC sisters and coach and they have all helped me to get to this point in my life. I couldn't have done it without them!

Go NFC!

Love always,

Allie
