I'll have a story in a bit, but a few highlights in snapshot, other than the fact the Cards haven't gotten any concrete offers for Anquan Boldin:
-- Coach Ken Whisenhunt emphasized a couple of times how the Cards aren't necessarily seeking a trade for Boldin, just listening for offers, which is an important difference to Whiz.
-- Asked if the Cards will release Edgerrin James after the draft, GM Rod Graves said the team will "have to go through the draft and see if we are in a position to make a decision."
-- With Calais Campbell and Kenny Iwebema on board, there is "not as much of a concern" to get a defensive end to replace Antonio Smith, Whisenhunt said, and that's no surprise. There is no question is it outside linebacker in the Cards' scheme that is more important as a potential draft pick.
-- Graves said the team has indeed taken players off its board (he didn't say if that meant this year) because of off-the-field concerns. "We're about risk management as much as building a football team," Graves said.
