Hey Everyone!
My name is Ashleigh and this is my first year as a member of the Arizona Cardinals Cheerleading Squad. I have never been more excited to embark on a new journey as I am for this year.
I moved to Arizona from Orange County, California last year to attend Arizona State University as a Psychology major. Being that I am almost done with my degree, I hope to continue my schooling to receive my Masters in Counseling. My goal for the future is to become a Drug and Alcohol Addiction Therapist. Moving to Arizona has definitely been an exciting adventure, and cheering for the cardinals has only made this experience more thrilling!
I began cheering at the young age of 7 for the local Pop Warner football team and that was the start to my passion for cheering, dancing and performing. In high school I competed nationally with my high school Song Team, and am now lucky to continue my adoration for this sport while I am in college. Even though this is my first season, I already feel such a connection to my teammates and I am absolutely amazed by how wonderful this organization is.
When I'm not dancing my heart out for the Cardinals, I like to relax by the pool, work out, read, and most of all being around my family and friends. I am an active member in a sorority at ASU, and I also enjoy attending my classes and doing well in school. And even though I have had the pleasure of meeting many new friends this year, my Mom will always be my BEST friend.
This year has been an incredible journey. Not only am I thankful to be where I am, I am also honored. Opportunities like cheering for the Cardinals do not come around often, and I plan to take away from this experience everything that I can. I truly believe We Do This Together! Being on that field is inspirational, and sharing it with all you amazing fans is indescribable!
XoXo!
