As I mentioned on Twitter (and on a subject I will expand on later today in a notebook), Larry Fitzgerald came down very awkwardly after a catch today, doing a near-splits/bad back bend on his leg/knee. He was OK, and he went back in to take his normal spot during 11-on-11 at the end of practice. Also, as I mentioned, Tom Condon has been officially hired by Anquan Boldin, for whatever that means. Bottom line, Adrian Wilson/Karlos Dansby are the immediate contract concerns, etc., etc., etc. GM Rod Graves said progress is being made with both those guys. Given Dansby's past statements, I still am more confident of Wilson than Dansby, but who knows, maybe both guys will get done. Graves did say he'd like to get all the contract issues resolved by training camp "one way or the other."
The roster was nearly complete out for the voluntary work. Other than the rookies that aren't allowed to be here, the absent continue to be Boldin, Darnell Dockett and Bertrand Berry. As far as I can tell, Berry simply wants to work out on his own. I'm a little surprised he doesn't look like he will be coming at all, but again -- always have to have the caveat -- it's voluntary.
Lance Long made some nice catches today, ones that drew the whoops and hollers of some of his teammates.
