The competition took place in the press box of University of Phoenix Stadium following lunch and a tour of the stadium. Mountain Pointe High School walked away from the competition victorious and received a trophy.
Each high school team was made up of three calculus students and two pre-calculus students. Every participant received a gift bag.
Judges from University of Phoenix included Hinrich Eylers (Dean), Shannon Schuman (Associate Dean), and Ruth Geiman (Manager of the Center for Math Excellence). They monitored the competition and graded the tests to determine the winning team.
