The Cardinals have lost another piece on special teams, with linebacker Kylie Fitts going on Injured Reserve Monday because of a hand issue.
The Cards also reinstated center Lamont Gaillard to the roster, after he had been on the Commissioner's Exempt list following the birth of his child.
Fitts forced a fumble in New York against the Giants while covering a punt. He had also been part of the rotation at outside linebacker, a role that again got more important after the season-ending knee injury for fellow linebacker Dennis Gardeck. He played eight defensive snaps on defense and nine special teams snaps against the 49ers Saturday.
Gaillard had been getting some work in games even as backup to Mason Cole, and could see more work with Cole struggling with penalties of late.
