Max Tuerk was released on Thursday.
The Cardinals released Max Tuerk on Thursday. The center was signed off the Chargers' practice squad last November when Daniel Munyer was placed on injured reserve with a toe injury.
Tuerk saw action in the Week 16 game against the Giants. The Cardinals return incumbent starting center A.Q. Shipley, with former fourth-round pick Evan Boehm aiming to push him for the job this offseason.
Munyer was re-signed to a one-year contract in March and Josh Allen is the other center on the roster.
