Jason Banks was put on injured reserve today (I was tweeting from practice, but apparently Twitter is still jacked up) and signed defensive lineman Alex Field in his place, as a body to not only replace Banks but the ailing Keilen Dykes. Field, out of Virginia, was signed by the Giants as an undrafted rookie but didn't make it to training camp.
That may have been the most exciting part of practice, since coach Ken Whisenhunt dialed it so far back that Kurt Warner was able to practice with this fashionable look:
Linebacker Chike Okeafor, given the light work, returned to practice today.
