Coach Bruce Arians has not been shy to heap praise on rookie linebacker Haason Reddick in training camp.
Earlier this week, Arians said Reddick is probably the best coverage linebacker the Cardinals have had during his tenure, a high compliment considering Daryl Washington preceded him and his fellow inside linebackers – Deone Bucannon and Karlos Dansby – are quite good at it themselves.
The D-Wash comparison continues to come up, and Darren detailed their similarities in today’s feature story on the homepage.
As for Arians' optimism about Reddick, it's easy to see why. Here is how he compares athletically to Washington, a former Pro Bowler, based off their posted measurables from the pre-draft process. (Reddick's numbers are from the NFL Scouting combine. Washington's are from the combine and his pro day. He also ran a 4.66 40-yard dash, but I took his fastest recorded time.)
