The Cardinals are about to be back in the house. Voluntarily.
This is the week NFL teams that did not have a head coaching change can begin their offseason program. That starts with Phase One work, which is strength and conditioning. The Cardinals' first day is Tuesday.
Phase Two (on field, no helmets, offense and defense separate) starts a couple of weeks after and then Phase Three (OTAs, helmets on, offense and defense can practice together) beginning May 28. While teams can hold up to 10 OTAs, coach Jonathan Gannon has just six scheduled before the minicamp to end the work.
As always, all work in the offseason is voluntary for players save for the mandatory minicamp June 10-12. Rookie minicamp will take place two weeks after the draft.
