Larry Fitzgerald gets ready to do a live TV interview before his "Fitz's Supper Club" event Monday night.

Larry Fitzgerald was down his go-to guy at his annual Fitz's Supper Club charity dinner on Monday night. He just wasn't sure if that was a bad thing.

"One teammate I'm going to sorely miss who has been here every single year is Darnell Dockett," Fitzgerald said. "He's actually the best and worst server. He's a guy I can count on to drop a plate every year, but he's going to have everybody laughing and having a wonderful time, too. He's the best and worst celebrity waiter ever."

While Dockett was unavailable because he had surgery on his torn ACL in the afternoon, a host of celebrities assisted Fitzgerald in serving dinner to guests at Dominick's Steakhouse in Scottsdale. The event raised approximately $350,000 for Fitzgerald's charitable First Down Fund, meeting Fitzgerald's hopes to exceed the 2013 total by about $100,000.

Notable names on hand included radio morning show host Johnjay Van Es, singer Jessica Sanchez, Coyotes star Shane Doan, Arizona State men's basketball coach Herb Sendek, former Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner and former Suns guard Eddie Johnson.

The Cardinals were also well-represented, as team president Michael Bidwill, coach Bruce Arians, General Manager Steve Keim and other front office personnel joined more than a dozen players at the event.

"Any time you get a chance to help out Larry in something, he's such a positive, good-natured guy and great in the community," defensive end Frostee Rucker said. "You've got to show up for his events."

There was a red carpet upon arrival and guests enjoyed a pre-dinner cocktail hour. The celebrities then served the meals and the night also featured both a live and silent auction. It was the sixth annual Fitz's Supper Club event.
