So we brought you the other day the story of Edgerrin James and his new car. Well, when the Cards got back from media day yesterday and Edge asked if I had taken a picture of the car yet. Which I hadn't (but I took care of that later that night). Anyway, I made the mistake – because I thought I had seen something written about Edge renting the Lamborghini – of asking Edge if he bought or rented.
"Cash, straight out the door!" Edge told me, before considering that I even had to ask the question. So a few seconds later, Edge, walking with some of his teammates, expressed his incredulity. "Hey, Urb wanted to know if I rented!" Edge bellowed. "I only rent tents and bouncehouses."
Edge always has been good about putting on parties for his kids and the old neighborhood.
I suppose I should have known better.
