I am a little tardy in mentioning this, but the players around the league have once again voted the surface in Arizona the best to play on in the NFL (in this story, which is a press release about artificial turf, the full list – with the Cards on top – is at the bottom). No shock there. The crew does an excellent job, and any stadium gets a leg up when it uses actual grass. Add in the lack of terrible weather and the roll-out function of the grass tray, and I'd guess the field (and the practice fields too, all managed capably by the team of Tim Peterson, Kore Higuchi, Andy Levy and Bob Schindler) will remain at or near the top of the list for a long time.
