Hello Cards fans!
My name is Kaylee and this is my first year cheering for the Arizona Cardinals! I feel as though all of my hard work that I have put forth throughout my life as a gymnast, dancer, and cheerleader, has finally paid off. I am extremely fortunate to be a part of the Cardinals organization.
I have lived here in Arizona my entire life and began incorporating discipline into my life at the age of three, when I was enrolled into a competitive gymnastics program. After ten years as a gymnast, I decided that it was time for a transition and began cheerleading for my high school. I was blessed to be a part of this team; we took home three consecutive national titles and this is when the meaning of being on a team really became clear to me. My junior year of high school I suffered a back injury and thought I would never be able to cheer again. Within the same year I was invited to cheer for a well-known cheerleading team in the valley and got the opportunity to participate in the World championships, placing in the top five!
I am currently working toward obtaining my Bachelor's degree in nursing and I hope to eventually have my doctorate under my belt. I am very passionate about health, exercise, and nutrition. I want to make a difference in the lives of others by reaching out as a nurse, but I would also love to train others both mentally and physically to promote inner beauty and self confidence.
Outside of cheerleading, I enjoy spending time with my family, friends, and dogs. I also like hiking, running, snowboarding, and basically anything outdoors and adventurous! Overall, I am a very happy person who is always laughing and being a bit goofy!
Being a part of this team has been incredible! I can have the worst day imaginable and come to a challenging practice with our trainer Bill, coach, and my fellow teammates, and leave feeling on top of the world! Earlier this season I was given a wonderful opportunity to do my first overseas military morale tour, traveling to Iraq. Wow, what an amazing experience, I feel so blessed!
I want to express a sincere thank you to all of our fans, as you're what completes this experience for me! Word cannot describe the feeling on game day when we come charging out of the tunnel to the sound of all of you cheering your hearts out! Keep it up and together we will help lead our amazing team to more victories!
Go Cards!
