The Cardinals' other home preseason game comes in Week 1, when the Houston Texans and first-year coach Bill O'Brien visit Arizona in O'Brien's first game sometime within August 7-10. The Texans also hold the No. 1 overall pick in May's draft.
The second game of the preseason is a trip to Minnesota, where the Vikings are playing temporarily at TCF Bank Stadium – home of the University of Minnesota – while the Vikings' new stadium is built. That game will be scheduled between Aug. 14-18.
The Cardinals close out the preseason with a trip to San Diego Aug. 28. It's the Cards' first preseason trip to San Diego since 2003. The Cards have hosted the Chargers five straight times in the preseason. Arizona and San Diego will also meet in the regular season at University of Phoenix Stadium.
