Cardinals defensive tackle Robert Nkemdiche was arrested for speeding and driving on a suspended license earlier this month, according to a police report obtained by ABC15.
Nkemdiche was reportedly pulled over near the intersections of Scottsdale Road and Shea Boulevard on the morning of June 6 for driving 75 mph in a 45 mph zone.
"We are aware of the June 6th incident involving Robert Nkemdiche," the Cardinals said in a statement. "We have alerted the NFL office in accordance with the league's personal conduct policy and will comment further when appropriate."
Nkemdiche reportedly had an outstanding warrant for driving on a suspended license and failing to appear for a court hearing. He was the team's first-round pick in 2016 and is currently rehabilitating a torn ACL suffered in early December against the Lions.
