Cardinals safety Tony Jefferson was once undrafted.
Tony Jefferson went undrafted. This was something he was not happy about at the time, back in 2013. These days, though, Jefferson is a key piece of the Cardinals' defense and is going into 2016 knowing he will be playing for a free-agent contract next offseason.
Still, on draft weekend, Jefferson -- who did his own mock draft the other day -- wanted to let potential draftees he was excited for them.

Someone tweeted back asking Jefferson about his favorite draft memory -- apparently not realizing Jefferson went undrafted. A painful shot. But Jefferson responded with a hilarious string of tweets:
