Dear Cardinals Fans,

    My name is Vanessa and this is my first year as an Arizona Cardinal Cheerleader. The experience so far has been somewhat of a whirlwind, but one I am proud and excited to be a part of! Having danced since the age of five, dancing professionally has always been my aspiration. Being an active member of the Cardinals Cheerleaders has enabled me to continue my professional dance career in a manner I never imagined possible. Performing in front of over 60,000 people is an opportunity that few dancers realize and is a feat that would be impossible without such a devoted group of fans. Stepping onto the field for every game and hearing all of you cheering so loudly is a powerful and incredible experience, which keeps me energized throughout the entire game and makes all the hard work through the hot summer worthwhile.

    When I am not practicing or cheering on the Cardinals, I love to spend time with my family, friends, and teammates. I especially appreciate the time I have to share with my loved ones, as they are always keeping me laughing and pushing me to be a better person. A few activities I really enjoy are cooking, traveling, relaxing by the pool, or doing anything that keeps me active.

    Thank you all for your continued support and loud cheers. I can't wait to see you all in the stands and join you in cheering on the football team through the 2010 season!
