Anyone seen that meme of the girl trying kombucha for the first time?

I think it perfectly sums up the feelings I had watching the Arizona Cardinals win over the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. There were some incredible moments, there were some heartbreaking moments, but at the end of the day a win is a win. Not every game can be a made-for-TV-movie, but the squad came together to overcome adversity and flew out of Jacksonville with a win. Wait… that does kind of sound like a made-for-TV-movie, doesn't it?

Take a stroll back with me through the sights of a hard-fought victory that lands the Cardinals at 3-0 to start the season.

When the squad hits the road, the GQ style comes out. Some guys go all-out for the plane ride (see: Kliff Kingsbury, Chris Banjo), and some guys save it for game day (see: DeAndre Hopkins, Kyler Murray). Also have to give a shout-out to the Phoenix Mercury who are battling for an WNBA title, and J.J. Watt made sure to show the GOAT some love with his Diana Taurasi jersey on Sunday.

Once they were between the lines at TIAA Bank Field, it was all business for the Bird Gang. Everyone had that look in their eyes that there was a lot on the line in Jacksonville for a team that wants to get off to a hot start in 2021, and make a name for themselves in a tough NFC West division.

The game was a back-and-forth affair with Kyler Murray showing off his wheels (and zen-like celebration) on his third rushing touchdown in as many games. Byron Murphy also snagged his first pick of the season before things turn an interesting turn. The crazy finish to the half left the Cardinals in a hole to start the second frame, but that only added fuel to the fire in the locker room. "That was about as big a moment of adversity as you can face on an NFL field," Kingsbury said after the game. "Guys didn't blink."

The second half was where the flavors of the game really started to sit well. James Conner punched in a couple scores (his first and second as a Cardinal) and Byron Murphy had his coming out party with a pick-six of Trevor Lawrence. "That was huge," Kingsbury said. "You could feel the momentum change on that play, and I think everyone felt like we had the game in control after that moment."

After it was all said and done, former teammates and foes at the college ranks met at midfield to chat it up after a wild day in Jacksonville. It wasn't the prettiest win, but they never ask 'how', just 'how many'.

A.J Green said it best, "We're three-and-oh. That's all that matters, man."
