It's late, but a few more thoughts before bed:
-- As I mentioned a few days ago, I thought all along Anquan Boldin's arrival at training camp was a foregone conclusion. For some reason his status was a concern for some. I know the main reason I was waiting for him to show was to see if he was speaking today. He wasn't. I would guess he will tomorrow. But that he would show? Never thought twice about it.
-- You'd think Beanie will be signed sooner rather than later. I'll stay on top of it while the negotiations go on but in the end, Wells will sign at some point and come the end of camp, no one will remember how many practices he missed – if he even misses any, and he won't if this comes together tomorrow.
-- I'll give Bertrand Berry credit. He stood in front of the media knowing questions about his absent offseason would come up. He insisted he just wanted to rest rather than come to OTAs. You can only take him at face value, and besides, he is right when he says he's been around long enough he isn't missing much. Coaches notice when a guy misses all the OTAs, of course. But in the end, if Berry plays well – like the Beanie situation – no one will care what happened this offseason.
