Peagler joined the Cardinals as assistant defensive line coach on 3/1/23 following 12 years coaching at the collegiate level, including last year as the tight ends coach at the University of Florida.

Peagler went to Florida after coaching running backs for two seasons (2020-21) at Michigan State and was selected as the 2021 FootballScoop Running Backs Coach of the Year for his work with MSU RB Kenneth Walker III, who was drafted by Seattle in the second round of the 2022 NFL Draft. Walker III rushed for 1,636 yards and 18 TDs on 263 carries in 2021 and became the first Spartan to win the Doak Walker award, honoring the top running back in college football. Michigan State finished the 2021 regular season with a 10-2 record and played in the program's third New Year's Six Bowl game.

Prior to Michigan State, Peagler worked as the offensive director of quality control at Colorado in 2019 following his second stint at the University of Louisiana in 2018 where he was the director of player personnel/quality control coordinator. He helped the Ragin Cajuns recruit the #1 class in the Sun Belt Conference leading to a division title and berth in the Auto Nation Cure Bowl.

He spent the 2017 season as a graduate assistant at Georgia and helped the Bulldogs offensive line during their run to the College Football Playoff National Championship. Georgia won a school record 13 games, the SEC Championship and the Rose Bowl in addition to signing the nation's consensus top recruiting class. Peagler helped coach Patriots T Isaiah Wynn, who earned first-team All-SEC honors and was drafted by New England in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Peagler worked with the offensive line as a quality control coach at Minnesota in 2016 after serving as the offensive coordinator/offensive line coach at Olive Branch (MS) High School in 2015 and the run game coordinator/recruiting coordinator at Coffeyville Community College in 2014. Under his watch at Coffeyville, the Ravens went from scoring 27.8 points per game the previous season to 48.2 points per game (578 points in 12 games) and rushed for 2,671 yards and 22 TDs that season.

He initially joined Louisiana's staff in 2011 as an offensive quality control assistant and then worked as an offensive graduate assistant from 2012-13. Louisiana won the New Orleans Bowl all three seasons Peagler was there.

 A native of Santee, SC, Peagler began his coaching career as tight ends coach at Valdosta State (2010) after working as a student assistant at Clemson from 2006-09. He graduated from Clemson in 2010 with a degree in Sport Management. Peagler attended Hollly Hill (SC) Academy where he lettered in football, basketball and baseball.
