Alex Valles is in his fourth season with the Cardinals and third as an area scout after being promoted in June, 2022.
Valles originally joined the team in June, 2021 as a scouting assistant. Prior to coming to the Cardinals, he spent two seasons with Wake Forest as a recruiting intern and then a defensive recruiting/player personnel assistant. Valles worked the 2019 season as a wide receivers coach with Endicott College and worked as a volunteer recruiting assistant with Boston College at the same time.
He played football collegiately at Georgetown, rushing for 776 yards and five TDs on 193 carries and caught 41 passes for 205 yards in 37 career games. As a junior, Valles led the team with 462 rushing yards and three TDs. He was also selected to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll as a freshman and sophomore.
Valles graduated from Georgetown with a bachelor's degree in Psychology in 2018 and earned a master's degree in Sports Administration from Boston College in 2020.
