John Mancini is in his 12th season with the Cardinals and third as a National Scout following his promotion in June, 2022. In his current role, Mancini helps to compile evaluations of college players across the entire county for the NFL Draft.
Mancini worked as the team's Midwestern Regional Scout in 2021 following eight seasons (2013-20) as an area scout after joining Arizona's scouting department in May, 2013.
Now in his 30th year in the NFL, Mancini came to Arizona after working for 18 seasons with the St. Louis Rams, including the final 16 years in the team's personnel department.
Following the 2021 NFL Draft, Mancini was the recipient of the team's inaugural "Rod Graves College Scouting Award." The award was created in honor of the former Cardinals general manager and is given to the team's top scout based off of analytics and draft grade accuracy.
Mancini spent 10 years as a college scout with the Rams before serving as Director of College Scouting from 2009-12. He joined the Rams in their inaugural season in St. Louis in 1995, beginning his career in the ticket office before moving into merchandise and then as a scouting assistant in 1997. During his Rams tenure, Mancini worked on both pro and college sides of player personnel.
A Long Island, NY native, Mancini is a graduate of the State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a degree in Business Management. He and his wife, Theresa, have a son, Dominic, and daughters, Avarie and Brooklyn.
