Rob Kisiel joined the Cardinals in March, 2023 and is in his second season as Assistant Director, Player Personnel. Now in his 27th year in the NFL, Kisiel came to Arizona last year after spending two years (2021-22) as a Senior Pro Scout with the Atlanta Falcons.
Prior to working with the Falcons, Kisiel spent 16 years with the Houston Texans. He was the Texans director of pro personnel for four seasons (2017-20) after working as a college scout (2012-17). That followed his first tenure with Houston where he spent seven years as a pro scouting assistant (2000-01), college scout (2002-03) and pro scout (2004-07). Kisiel worked alongside Cardinals GM Monti Ossenfort in the Texans personnel department for three seasons (2002; '04-05).
In between his two tenures with the Texans, Kisiel spent five years (2007-12) as the director of operations for BLESTO. He started with BLESTO in 2007, replacing legendary scout Jack Butler, and helped lead the scouting service's move to Jacksonville, FL from Pittsburgh, PA.
Kisiel started with the Texans in 2000 after serving as the draft room coordinator for the Washington Redskins from August, 1999 through April, 2000. He got his start in the NFL as a training camp intern with the Redskins (1995-97) before working as a scouting intern with the team from July, 1998 until June, 1999. In addition, Kisiel interned for the World League's London Monarchs during the 1997 season and was a labor relations intern at the NFL Management Council in 1999.
A native of Clearwater, FL, Kisiel earned a bachelor's degree in Communications from Florida State where he served as a student assistant for former head coach Bobby Bowden for four years. Kisiel and his wife, Liz, have three daughters: Alexandra, Gabrielle and Ivy.
