The Cardinals officially placed Christian Kirk and Mike Iupati on injured reserve Tuesday, but they weren't the only ones headed there.

Defensive tackle Olsen Pierre also had his season end Tuesday by going to IR with a knee injury, three of a handful of moves by the team. The team promoted wide receiver Jalen Tolliver and defensive end Vontarrius Dora to the active roster from the practice squad.

Losing Pierre takes a player out of the defensive line rotation, although the play of top three tackles Corey Peters, Robert Nkemdiche and Rodney Gunter has been solid.

The team also put practice squad offensive lineman Rick Leonard (calf) on the practice squad/injured reserve, signed wide receiver Daniel Braverman to the practice squad, and released wide receiver Montay Crockett from the practice squad.

The moves mean the Cardinals have a spot on the active roster open and three practice squad openings. The team resumes practice Wednesday.
