The roster moves for the Cardinals are happening on a daily basis right now, and another adjustment to the offensive line room was on the docket Thursday.
The team re-signed their 2017 fifth-round pick Will Holden, because Jeremy Vujnovich, who had been battling a bad hamstring almost all season, was finally placed on injured reserve. It leaves a hole at starting right guard.
The Cards also re-signed cornerback Chris Jones to the practice squad.
Holden was released by the Cardinals at the end of the preseason, spending time on the Colts' practice squad and more recently, on the Saints' practice squad. New Orleans released him Wednesday.
Holden can play both guard and tackle, which gives the Cardinals some flexibility should they choose to activate him on game days. Vujnovich, acquired on a waiver claim at the end of the preseason, appeared in five games and started two, including last weekend at right guard against the Chargers. Oday Aboushi figures to be the next potential starting right guard available.
