With a roster spot open after center A.Q. Shipley was placed on injured reserve, the Cardinals got back to their 90-man limit Friday by signing cornerback Tim Scott to a one-year contract.
The one-time undrafted free agent has spent time with the Redskins, Browns, Cowboys and Giants since getting into the league in 2015. Scott, 25, played in one game with New York last season and spent a chunk of the season on the Giants' practice squad.
The Cardinals now have 10 cornerbacks total on the roster, although Jonathan Moxey has been sidelined most of camp with an injury. The Cards open the preseason Saturday night against the Chargers, although it is unknown if Scott will be available to play.
The Cards begin their final week of training camp at University of Phoenix Stadium Monday. Camp breaks Wednesday, prior to Friday's second preseason game in New Orleans.
