The Cardinals' game in Week 17 has been set for their game in Los Angeles, with the NFL announcing on Tuesday it will be on Saturday, Dec. 28, with a 6:15 p.m. kickoff Arizona time (8:15 p.m. ET)
The game will be televised nationally on NFL Network. It will also be aired locally on KPNX (Ch. 12).
The dates for both Cardinals' Week 17 and Week 18 games were undecided at schedule release. The Week 18 home game against the 49ers has not been announced, although the 49ers play on Monday night in Week 17 against the Lions so a Saturday game seems unlikely.
The Rams (8-6) are currently in first place in the NFC West. They beat the 49ers in San Francisco on Thursday night, and will play in New York against the Jets in Week 16. The Cardinals (7-7) travel to Carolina this week.
The Cardinals crushed the Rams, 41-10, at State Farm Stadium in Week 2. But the Rams have gotten healthy and since the bye have posted a 7-2 record.
The Seahawks (8-6), who had been in first place, lost to the Packers on Sunday night and are behind the Rams in the standings thanks to a head-to-head loss. Those teams meet again in Week 18.
Depending on the Seahawks' result at home this week against the Vikings (12-2), the Cardinals-Rams game will have a significant impact on the eventual division winner, with the Cardinals still in the hunt.
