Chandler High School QB Brett Hundley named this week's High School Player-of-the-Week

Chandler High School quarterback Brett Hundley has been named this week's Arizona Cardinals and Wells Fargo "High School Player-of-the-Week."

Hundley carried the ball 22 times for 145 yards and two touchdowns while also completing 12 of 21 passes for 149 and two touchdowns to help the Wolves defeat Mountain View High School 42-14 last week. With the win, Chandler improved their record to 6-3 on the season

The eighth-year Arizona Cardinals Football Club "Player-of-the-Week" award, presented by Wells Fargo, is selected by a local sports panel consisting of Cardinals Director of Community Relations Luis Zendejas, Community Relations Coordinator Sheldon Meeks, NBC-12 sports reporter Bruce Cooper, 16-year Arizona high school football official Bob Ferreira, AIA Director of Media Marketing Brian Bolitho, Channel 3 sports anchor Brad Cesmat, 1060 AM radio host Dan Manucci, and Wells Fargo representative Jeff Smith.

A football plaque acknowledging the award will be presented to Hundley by a Cardinals alumnus at a ceremony at Chandler High School (350 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler) on Thursday, November 4 at 1:00 p.m. The Wolves host Browne High School on Friday night.
