The Cardinals got another Pro Bowler Monday morning.
Left tackle D.J. Humphries, who had been named an alternate, will take the spot of Cowboys tackle Tyron Smith. He becomes the fifth Cardinal to be picked for the game. Quarterback Kyler Murray , linebacker Chandler Jones , safety Budda Baker and running back James Conner were original selections for the game.
The Pro Bowl will be held Sunday in Las Vegas. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. Arizona time.
It is Humphries' first Pro Bowl. He is the first Cardinals tackle to make the Pro Bowl since Lomas Brown in 1996. He is the first offensive lineman from the team to make it since guard Mike Iupati in 2015.
Humphries played in 16 of 17 games this season, missing only one game for Covid. After an early career that was marred by injury -- and after a rookie season in which he was kept inactive every game in 2015 -- Humphries has evolved into a solid anchor on the left side and has missed just the one game the past three seasons.
