FRIDAY REPORT
After wearing a yellow jersey on Thursday to avoid contact, cornerback Max Melton was at practice on Friday repping his No. 16 white practice uniform. Jonathan Gannon mentioned prior to Friday's practice that Melton continues to work through concussion protocol. Melton was a full participant.
Heading into Sunday's divisional contest against the Rams, Melton is questionable and wide receiver Xavier Weaver (oblique) is also questionable.
Kyler Murray's appearance on the injury report isn't something fans need to be concerned about this week. Gannon said his quarterback is "all good" after being listed with a knee injury.
As noted throughout the week, the Rams have had a handful of players dealing with injuries. However, Sean McVay expects both offensive lineman Rob Havenstein (foot) and right guard Kevin Dotson (foot) to play this weekend. Tight end Davis Allen was downgraded to out Friday afternoon after originally being listed as doubtful.
THURSDAY REPORT
It's early in the season, but it's always an accomplishment when every player on your roster participated in some fashion. Cornerback Max Melton, who has been in concussion protocol, was on the practice field on Thursday. While he is still recovering, practicing in a limited capacity, he was wearing a yellow jersey to indicate that he can't have contact.
Although he practiced in full, Kyler Murray was the surprise addition to the injury report on Wednesday. On Thursday he, once again, practiced in full.
Wide receiver Xavier Weaver continues to ramp up his return to the practice field. Like Melton, Weaver was limited on Thursday.
The Rams, meanwhile, still have three players who have yet to practice this week, including starting right guard Kevin Dotson.
WEDNESDAY REPORT
For the second consecutive week, the Cardinals injury report remains short as they begin division play this weekend, although quarterback Kyler Murray did make an appearance with a knee issue -- although he practiced full.
The lone absence on Wednesday was cornerback Max Melton. The rookie remains in concussion protocol after exiting Sunday's game against the Bills. Rookie wide receiver Xavier Weaver returned to practice after missing all of last week with an oblique injury. Coach Jonathan Gannon mentioned prior to the game against the Bills that Weaver has been trending in the right direction. He was listed as limited on Wednesday.
Out in LA, the injury bug has hurt the Rams big time, especially on their offensive line. Jonah Jackson is the only expected starter on their line that practiced.
