The Defense's Home Sweet Home
There's nothing like playing at home, and the Cardinals defense has proven that over their last three games at State Farm Stadium. The unit has not allowed a touchdown in three straight home games for the first time in nearly a century. After two road games and two quality outings by the defense, they're back in the nest seeking revenge against their NFC West opponent. Since Week 7, the Cardinals defense is first in sacks and yards per game allowed and second in points per game.
"Those guys left a bad taste in our mouth from the last time we played them," linebacker Mack Wilson Sr. said. "So we're ready to roll."

Where is No. 99?
For years, it was Aaron Donald. Now, at least this year, it's Leonard Williams. The Seahawks veteran defensive lineman "wrecked the game" two weeks ago, according to head coach Jonathan Gannon. Williams had 2.5 sacks, 4 quarterback hits, 3 tackles for loss and 1 pass defensed. It was his most productive day in years. But as he showed last week at the New York Jets – finishing with nearly identical numbers while adding a 92-yard pick-6 and blocked extra point – it wasn't a one-off. "He's just playing at an all-time elite level," Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald said. Wonderful. So pre-snap, where is Williams lined up, and do your best to limit his time in the backfield.

If Not Must Win, A Really-Really-Got-To-Have-It Win
There's a lot riding on this Cardinals/Seahawks matchup given how tight the NFC West title race has become. A win puts Arizona back atop the standings with the ability to control its own destiny to make a playoff push. A loss puts the Cardinals three games back from the Seahawks with the head-to-head tiebreaker Seattle would own. In that case, you're having to look around the NFC to make the postseason as a wild card team, and teams with stellar records who are unlikely to win their division (Vikings, Packers, Commanders) make that an uphill road to climb. Every game matters, but one way or another, this game figures to be a turning point in the Cardinals' season.
