It was the fifth time that Beachum has been named NFLPA Community MVP since the NFLPA launched the program in 2014, the most for any player since the award's inception.

Attended Mexia (TX) High School where he was named first-team All-District 19-3A as a senior and second-team all-district as a junior ... also a Super Cen-Tex player and All-Academic pick ... allowed only one sack in 2006 as a senior ... also starred on the basketball team, where he averaged a double-double in his hoops career ... earned an undergraduate degree in Economics and a master's in Liberal Studies … in February 2016, Beachum visited Honduras with partner organization, World Vision; in 2015, World Vision pioneered the Entrepreneurship and Employment with Technology program which gives children a boost with technology skills and new ways of thinking that use STEM education to ensure vulnerable children in the capital city of Tegucigalpa, Honduras are equipped with the skills that will unlock their future.
