Biography

NoteCARDS:

  • Signed a one-year contract with the Cardinals on 3/28/23. Barnes entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Green Bay in 2020 and spent his first three NFL seasons (2020-22) with the Packers.
  • Started six of 16 games played in his first season with Arizona in 2023, totaling 53 tackles, three tackles for loss, a QB hit, his first career INT and two tackles on special teams.
  • During his time in Green Bay, appeared in 35 regular season games (24 starts), collecting 186 tackles, 3.0 sacks, nine tackles for loss, four passes defensed, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. He also started all three postseason games for the Packers between 2020-21.
  • Started at ILB in his NFL debut (at Minnesota in 2020), becoming the first undrafted rookie LB to start a Week 1 contest for the Packers since the 1970 NFL/AFL merger.
