Biography

  • First name pronounced "KY-zeer."
  • Signed a two-year contract with the Cardinals as an unrestricted free agent on 3/15/23 after spending his first five seasons with the Eagles (2022) and Chargers (2018-21). Originally drafted by Los Angeles in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft.
  • Named a captain for the first time in his career in his first season with the Cardinals in 2023.
  • Played under current Cardinals head coach Jonathan Gannon and defensive coordinator Nick Rallis in Philadelphia in 2022. Gannon served as the Eagles defensive coordinator and Rallis was the LBs coach.
  • In his first season with Arizona in 2023, started all 11 games played and finished with 90 tackles, a career-high 2.0 sacks, an INT, nine tackles for loss, three passes defensed and two QB hits. Led the Cardinals in tackles (90) and tackles for loss (nine).
  • In Week 3 win vs. Dallas in 2023, recorded 14 tackles, an INT, a pass defensed and a tackle for loss. With the Cardinals leading 28-16 with 3:00 remaining, White's INT of Cowboys QB Dak Prescott in the AZ end zone sealed the victory.
  • Appeared in all 17 regular season games (eight starts) in 2022 with Philadelphia and had 110 tackles (66 solo), three tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, seven passes defensed and five QB pressures. He also played in all three postseason games (one start).
  • With the Chargers in 2021, set career highs in games started (17), tackles (144), solo tackles (90), tackles for loss (7), INTs (2) and forced fumbles (2). He ranked third in the AFC in tackles in 2021 and had seven double-digit tackle games, the most for a Chargers player since 2008.
  • One of seven children, Kyzir is the brother of former Cardinals WR Kevin White, who was drafted by the Chicago Bears with the 7th overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft. Played at West Virginia with another brother, Ka'Raun, who attended training camp with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2018. All three brothers began their college careers at Lackawanna College before going on to play at West Virginia. Sister, Kiyae, played basketball at Auburn.
