A three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, Reiman spent four years (2020-23) at Illinois and appeared in 45 games (28 starts), finishing with 41 receptions for 420 yards and five TDs.
2023: Had his most productive season as a junior in 2023, starting all 12 games and finishing with 19 catches for a career-high 203 yards and three TDs … named a team captain, earned a spot on the Mackey Award watch list and was a Burlsworth Trophy nominee (most outstanding player to begin career as a walk-on) … had a career-long reception of 42 yards in a win over FAU (9/23) … had TD catches at Kansas (9/8), vs. Wisconsin (10/21) and at Minnesota (11/4) … earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for the third consecutive season.
2022: Started all 13 games and led Illinois TEs in receptions (19) and receiving yards (174) while adding one TD catch … had at least one reception in 10 games … helped current Bengals RB Chase Brown run for 1,643 yards, 10 TDs and 100+ yards in 10-of-12 games played … helped block for a season-high 258 rushing yards in a season-opening win over Wyoming (8/27) … earned Academic All-Big Ten honors for the second straight season.
2021: Played in 12 games, including his first three career starts, and finished the season with three receptions for 43 yards … awarded a scholarship by head coach Bret Bielema in September … earned Academic All-Big Ten honors.
2020: Played in all eight games, primarily on special teams, in a season shortened by COVID-19.
Graduated from O'Gorman (Sioux Falls, SD) High School after transferring from St. Thomas More (Rapid City, SD) in his junior year … played outside linebacker during his first three years of high school before switching to TE for his senior year, which ended in him helping lead O'Gorman to a state championship … completed a mission trip to Africa in the summer of 2023 … in his free time, enjoys using the pottery wheel, shaping coffee mugs, bowls and other dinnerware … earned a degree in Kinesiology from Illinois.
