Some quick tidbits following the first practice of training camp Saturday:
-- As promised, first-string quarterback Sam Bradford got a lot of work. He took all the first-team reps for most of practice, although rookie Josh Rosen did get some near the end of the session. Bradford looked sharp, and moved around well.
-- The lone interception of the practice was by safety Rudy Ford, who got Rosen. Ford nearly had another pick later.
-- The Cardinals officially activated rookie cornerback Chris Campbell from the PUP list, and he practiced.
-- To start, the first-string defensive end on the left side was Vontarrius Dora, next to defensive tackles Corey Peters and Robert Nkemdiche and right end Chandler Jones.
-- In the offseason, Budda Baker acknowledged that because he was going to be a bigger part of the defense, his role on special teams -- one that earned him a Pro Bowl berth last season -- would likely be lessened. He did say then he was ready and willing to play special teams if needed though.
Not sure that'll matter, if what happened Saturday holds.
"I tried to get out there one time," Baker said. "They told me, 'Get out of here.'"
