The Cardinals have gone north of the border for an addition to their wide receiver group.
Bryant Mitchell, a three-year veteran of the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos, was signed to a future contract on Thursday. The 26-year-old had a breakout season for Edmonton in 2018, catching 60 passes for 867 yards and three touchdowns in 11 games.
He averaged 14.5 yards per reception and surpassed 100 yards four times, including a 13-catch, 190-yard, one-touchdown performance against the Ottawa Redblacks in October.
Mitchell played college football at Northwestern State.
