The Cardinals won't have Justin Murray Sunday, but they will be able to plug in regular starter J.R. Sweezy at right guard after Sweezy was activated from Injured Reserve Saturday.
On the defensive line, the Cards will get help by officially signing Trevon Coley to the 53-man roster from the practice squad, making room by putting rookie defensive lineman Leki Fotu on Injured Reserve with an ankle injury -- meaning Fotu is out for at least three weeks.
The Cardinals are also elevating running back D.J. Foster and cornerback Jace Whittaker from the practice squad for the Bills game.
Sweezy has been on IR with an elbow injury. In his place, Murray has played well, but Murray missed practice all this week with a hand injury.
The Cardinals have a handful of players questionable for Sunday's game, including running back Kenyan Drake (ankle), safeties Budda Baker (groin) and Deionte Thompson (knee), cornerback Dre Kirkpatrick (thigh) and tight end Maxx Williams (ankle).
Coley has spent the season on the practice squad and had previously played in two games as a PS elevation. Players can be elevated twice from the practice squad (as non-COVID replacements) before needing to be officially promoted.
