The Hail Murray was a play and game that were impossible to forget. It's even award-winning, after being named the 2020 Bridgestone Clutch Play of the Year at NFL Honors on Super Bowl eve.
But receiver-on-the-play DeAndre Hopkins is hoping that people see the play as the best play in all sports, now that it's under consideration for "Best Play" in the 2021 ESPYS, the annual award show put on by ESPN.
Said Hopkins after the game, "It was on three people. They were in position. It was just a better catch by I."
The voting is done by fans head-to-head style, with 16 original plays eventually being pared down to four finalists. To vote for the Kyler Murray-to-Hopkins miracle, go here.
The Hail Murray's first "opponent" is a TD pass by Villanova QB Daniel Smith.
This round's winners will be announced on June 21, and then fans will vote again for the final four announced on June 25. The ESPYS will air July 10 on ABC at 5 p.m. Arizona time.
