The Cardinals have finalized the dates and times for their preseason slate.
The first exhibition contest will be against the Cowboys on Friday, Aug. 13 at 7 p.m. at State Farm Stadium. The Cardinals are at home again in Week 2 of the preseason, hosting the Chiefs on Friday, Aug. 20 at 5 p.m.
The final preseason game will be played at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome against the Saints on Saturday, Aug. 28, at 5 p.m. Arizona time. That gives the Cardinals two weeks before they open against the Titans on Sept. 12.
Final roster cutdown is scheduled for Aug. 31.
The Chiefs game will be aired on ESPN. The other two preseason games can be seen on KPNX (Ch.12) and on KTTU and KMSB in Tucson, as well as KOAT in Albuquerque.
With the new 17-game regular-season schedule, only three preseason games are played. The NFC teams play at the AFC teams this year for the extra game, so NFC teams have an extra home preseason game. In even years, that will flip -- in 2022, the Cardinals will have nine home games in the regular season, but play on the road for two of the three preseason game.
