The work towards building the 2025 roster began on Monday. It didn't stop as the week went on.
After inking a deal with seven practice squad players, the Cardinals signed four more players to "futures" contracts.
The Cardinals added more pieces to their offense, bringing in offensive lineman Sincere Haynesworth and running back Zonovan "Bam" Knight. Haynesworth spent his rookie season on the practice squad for both the Saints and Patriots. An interior offensive lineman from Tulane, Haynesworth was the AAC's Center and Offensive Lineman of the Year according to the College Football Network.
Knight has bounced between practice squads and active rosters throughout his time in the NFL. In 2022, he started four games for the Jets, followed by a pair of games with the Lions in 2023. He spent 2024 on the Jets practice squad.
Defensive lineman P.J. Mustipher and Anthony Goodlow also return to the team after spending majority of the 2024 season on the Cardinals practice squad. Mustipher is a one-time recipient of wearing the Tillman practice jersey. The No. 40 uniform is given to an outstanding scout team player from the prior week.
