The Cardinals made a handful of roster moves Tuesday as they prepare for next week's Monday night showdown against the Rams.
Linebacker Joe Walker, on the practice squad, was made an early-week Covid replacement for the still-sidelined running back Jonathan Ward. The Cardinals also released running back Tavien Feaster, and signed linebacker Nate Hall to the practice squad.
Walker has played in seven games for the Cardinals this season without officially being signed to the active roster, either as a standard call-up or as a Covid replacement.
The Cardinals letting Feaster go may show optimism for the ability for running back Chase Edmonds, who is on IR but eligible to return, to come back this week against the Rams. Edmonds' window to return to practice has not yet opened.
The Cardinals kept long snapper Beau Brinkley on the roster, which may show Aaron Brewer is not yet ready to make a return from IR.
