Cardinals, NFL Announce Kid Reporters Contest

Grand prize winner of best essay will earn trip to favorite team's home opener

The NFL and the Cardinals have announced the launch of the NFL RUSH Kid Reporters contest.

Continuing through August 5, the contest offers fans ages six through 12 the opportunity to display their reporter skills by answering an essay question to win a trip to a 2016 regular season game.

The Kid Reporters assignment is to submit a written essay on why they think their favorite NFL team will succeed this season, using examples from last year, the NFL Draft, training camp, their favorite players, coaches and more.

Three finalists will be chosen in August and at that point, fans will have the chance to vote on their favorite submission beginning August 16. The grand prize winner will win a trip to their favorite team's home opener. The second and third place winners will receive tickets to a game in their local market during the upcoming season.
