Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced ticket pricing for the 2008 season at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Arizona's average non-premium ticket price in 2008 will be $65.05 - up from $56.27 in 2007 - and ranks well beneath the NFL's projected '08 average ticket price of approximately $72. According to the sports industry publication Team Marketing Report, the Cardinals average ticket price ranked 26th in the NFL in 2007. While 2008 league figures are not yet known, it is expected that Arizona will remain in the lower third of the league.
Cardinals 2008 season tickets range in price from $25.00 to $92.50 per game and season-ticket holders receive a savings between $10-25 per ticket over those purchased on a single-game basis. About 12,000 of the seats are priced at $40 or less and the team's $25 ticket is among the lowest priced in the NFL.
The 2008 season will be the Cardinals third at University of Phoenix Stadium and the team has sold out all 20 preseason and regular season games played there. In addition to the three home games vs. NFC West foes Seattle, St. Louis and San Francisco, Arizona's 2008 home schedule will feature a visit from the Super Bowl Champion New York Giants as well as games vs. Dallas, Minnesota, Miami and Buffalo.
The Cardinals are coming off an 8-8 regular season that saw them post a 6-2 mark at University of Phoenix Stadium. That home record was the team's best since going 6-1 in 1976.
