GREEN BAY, Wisconsin -- Chad Ryland couldn't have had a more dramatic debut with the Cardinals.

Filling in for the injured Matt Prater last week, Ryland had a field goal blocked that was returned for a touchdown by the 49ers. But he also booted three other field goals, including the game-winning 35-yarder late in the fourth quarter.

With Prater still dealing with a left knee injury, the Cardinals elevated Ryland from the practice squad for a second straight week on Saturday. Ryland will likely replace Prater for Sunday's game against the Packers.

Ryland was the only player elevated.

The Cardinals, as expected, did not activate wide receiver Zay Jones. Jones has a one-week exemption after returning from suspension, and must be put on the roster by Monday. The two players with designated-to-return-from-IR tags -- defensive lineman Darius Robinson and offensive lineman Christian Jones -- also remain on IR. Robinson must be activated by Oct. 30, Jones by Oct. 23.

SIDELINE EXCHANGE IN SF EARNS FINES

Tight end Trey McBride and 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward each were fined for taking a play in which McBride was blocking Ward deep on to the San Francisco sideline last weekend. McBride was fined $9,545 for unsportsmanlike conduct, while Ward was hit with a $11,255 fine for facemasking McBride.

While the two were engaged in the bench area, 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw -- who was in street clothes and on PUP -- pushed McBride away and got a $14,069 fine for inserting himself in the altercation. Greenlaw's involvement also earned the 49ers organization an extra $100,000 fine, according to NFL Network.
