It seemed obvious the Cardinals had gotten together in Texas as planned for the Kyler Murray workouts even after the NFLPA warned against such gatherings, but Murray himself left no doubt when he posted video to Instagram and Twitter showing he and many teammates taking part.
Those seen in the video included Murray, DeAndre Hopkins, Christian Kirk, Dan Arnold, Chase Edmonds, Kenyan Drake, Maxx Williams, Trent Sherfield and Drew Anderson. (The quick cuts might've cost me the chance to ID any others.) Brett Hundley and Eno Benjamin were also guys who had previous posted pictures showing they were there.
There are still lots of questions about how the NFL is going to deal with the season within the issues of the coronavirus. But last week, Tom Brady had made it clear he was going to keep working out with his new Buccaneers teammates, and reportedly Russell Wilson had as well with Seahawks teammates. For Murray, it was the first chance to throw to new receiver Hopkins.
As of now, NFL training camps are still scheduled to open in late July, although nothing official has been announced on either timing or logistics when it comes to the Cardinals.
