The original schedule for the "Cardinals Archives" series had it ending tonight -- with a flourish -- by rebroadcasting the Divisional playoff game in 2015 between the Cardinals and the Packers, the one that featured a pinball TD pass to Michael Floyd, two Hail Mary bombs by Aaron Rodgers, a coin that didn't flip, and Larry Fitzgerald's overtime heroics to send the Cards into the NFC Championship game.
It's always cool to listen to such things in real time, as described by Dave Pasch, Ron Wolfley and Paul Calvisi.
But there will now be two games added to the schedule, for July 8 and July 15, both from this past season. Next week will be Kyler Murray out-dueling college teammate Baker Mayfield as the Cards beat the Browns (thanks in no small way to Kenyan Drake's four touchdowns). The week after will be the Cards' win in Seattle, when Drake's big day helped backup Brett Hundley get a victory against his former team after Murray had to leave halfway through because of a hamstring injury.
The rebroadcasts, whether tonight or later, begin at 6 p.m. on Arizona Sports, 98.7 FM.
